Dr. Jim Teer
After 56 years in the field, Dr. Jim Teer is a legend in the international wildlife community. With a resume running to four pages, with 130 professional papers, with awards from The Safari Club, The Wildlife Society, and the Secretary of the Interior, Jim Teer can speak with unquestionable authority on virtually any wildlife subject. Among many positions held, Dr. Teer served as head of the Wildlife and Fisheries Department at Texas A&M from 1970 to 1978, and was the Director of the Welder Wildlife Foundation from 1978 to 1998. Currently a Professor Emeritus at Texas A&M, Dr. Teer has made available his invaluable insight to our consulting service on selected projects.

Dr. Joe Schuster
With 54 years in the wildlife-range management field, Dr. Joe Schuster is eminently qualified to advise clients on ranch development and management. As the first Chairman of Texas Tech’s Range and Wildlife Department, Dr. Schuster developed Tech’s Brush and Weed Control program. Dr. Schuster also served as Head of the Rangeland Ecology & Mgmt. Department at Texas A&M for 21 years. Internationally recognized, Dr. Schuster has that rare background, combining range with wildlife to maximize the potential of any tract of land. Currently a Professor Emeritus at Texas A&M, Dr. Schuster is available for consulting on selected projects involving a combination of range and wildlife.


Jim Mullen
With only 31 years in the field, Jim Mullen is a relative rookie, but learns fast. A native of the South Texas brush country, Jim Mullen understands what is important in ranch development and management. A 1975 graduate of Texas A&M with a B.S. in Wildlife Management, Jim applied his degree while managing ranches in Zavala and Atascosa counties. After receiving a MAg. in Range-Wildlife in 1985, also from A&M, Jim began consulting in wildlife management and ranch development. Currently on retainer to several ranches in South Texas as a consulting biologist, Jim also works in the real estate field, advising clients in the acquisition and development of hunting ranches.
